Sending a proof

A proof is a fresh photo of the placement with a code written beside it. One proof, one instalment.

When a proof is due

The first proof is the placement itself. Once the brand has paid, you have 14 days to print the artwork, put it on, and send the first photo. Each later instalment falls due on a set day after that first proof, and you then have 14 days from that day to send its photo. The campaign page shows every due day, read from the chain.

Sending one

  1. Open the campaign and ask for a code. It looks like K7P-4QX and lives for 30 minutes.
  2. Write it on paper, large, in block capitals.
  3. Photograph the paper right next to the placement, with the object and the artwork in the same frame. Taking it in the app is better than uploading from your library; the brand is told which it was.
  4. Choose whether to share the area. If you do, the brand sees the district, never the exact point.
  5. Send it, then confirm the transaction that writes its hash on-chain from your wallet.

The pre-check

Before you send, an AI-assisted check looks at the photo while you are still next to the object. You get plain words back: the code is not in the shot, the code reads as something else, the object is not in frame, the artwork is not visible. Take it again if you like.

It never blocks you. If it is unsure, the button says Submit anyway, and a person reads whatever the check was unsure about.

A missed instalment

If you miss the first proof’s 14 days, the brand can take the whole campaign back. If you miss a later proof’s window, the brand can take that instalment back. Either is done in the contract by the brand; there is no arbiter and no appeal, and the rest of the campaign carries on.

Spot checks

Between proofs, the brand can ask for a fresh photo, at most once every 30 days. You have 48 hours to answer it, the same way, with a new code. A missed spot check is recorded and the arbiter can see it. See Disputes and spot checks.
