What peelbid is

A marketplace for advertising space on things people already own: laptops, jackets, cars, bags.

The short version

An owner lists a surface they own, marks out the panel a brand can rent, and sets a floor: the lowest monthly rate they will take. Brands bid for that panel in an auction that runs on-chain. The winning payment waits in a USDC escrow on Arc. It is released to the owner instalment by instalment, each time against a dated photo proof whose hash is written on-chain.

Nobody holds the money and nobody approves a payout. The escrow holds it, and the rules for releasing it are in the contract, where anyone can read them.

How a placement runs

1. The owner lists the object, draws each panel at its real size in centimetres, and sets a floor per month.
2. The owner opens bidding on a panel. Brands bid a monthly rate for a run of 1, 3, 6 or 12 months, with their artwork attached. Each bid locks a deposit.
3. When bidding ends, the owner approves the top bid or declines it.
4. The winning brand pays the rest of the run into the escrow. That starts the campaign.
5. The owner prints the artwork, puts it on, and sends a dated photo with a code issued minutes before. Its hash goes on-chain.
6. The brand has seven days to dispute each proof. If it does not, the instalment can be released to the owner, less the fee, by anyone.

Two sides

The owner has the surface: a laptop lid, a jacket back, a car door, a bag. The owner approves every brand, sees the exact artwork first, and prints and places it. The brand wants to be seen on that surface, bids for it, and pays into the escrow. The rest of these docs are split the same way: for owners and for brands.

The site is in early access. Anyone can browse listings and briefs. Listing, bidding, opening an auction and posting a brief are open to invited accounts, and invitations go out in waves. Start with your pass.
