Verified brands
An owner is about to print your logo on something they own. Verification shows them you are who you say.
Verifying your domain
- Enter an email address at your company's domain. Free mail domains are refused.
- We send a six-digit code to that address.
- Enter the code. Your account now shows that domain as verified.
The code lasts ten minutes, and five wrong tries end it. The code is stored only as a hash.
If you signed in with X, your X handle is shown as well.
The badge
Owners see what you have proved next to your bid, when deciding whether to approve it, and in the print box on the campaign page, before they print. It reads, for example, ✓ Verified: example.com, and ✓ X: @handle for an X account.
Without it
A bid from a brand with neither shows the owner a plain warning instead:
Not verified. Check the brand is who it says before you print anything.
You can still bid. The owner decides, and an owner who cannot tell who you are may decline. Rules on what can be advertised are in the terms.
