peelbid is in Claude for Startups

7 October 2026 3 min read

On 7 October peelbid was accepted into Claude for Startups. Here is what that is, what we will do with it, and the two things it does not mean.

What the program is

Claude for Startups is Anthropic's program for early companies that use Claude. A startup in the program gets a year of Claude Team, API credits, office hours with Anthropic's applied team, and offers from partner tools (the program page). It is not an investment and not an endorsement. Anthropic has not reviewed or vouched for peelbid's product, and nothing about the program changes how the escrow works.

Where Claude is used at peelbid

In the checks. Every proof photo an owner sends is compared with the approved artwork, the listing and the code issued for that photo. Claude does that first pass and labels each one approve, uncertain or reject, with a reason. It never rejects a genuine attempt on its own: anything it is unsure of goes to a person. The same check runs on spot checks, on listing verification and on the posts people submit for weekly quests. That is the whole of it: checks, with a person behind every decision.

What changes

  • The checks are covered. The credits pay for what the photo reviews already cost, so the budget goes to the testnet rehearsal and the move to mainnet.
  • The checks get measured. We are building a labelled set from real proofs and spot checks and rerunning the review on it after every change, with false approvals as the number we watch.
  • The hard cases get a second opinion. Office hours with Anthropic's applied team are where we take the review's edge cases: a photo at an angle, a reflection on the laminate, a sticker half under a bag strap.

What does not change

  • The money. A brand's payment waits in the escrow contract on Arc, not in our account, and is released against proof. No program, partner or credit touches that.
  • The one human step. Disputes are decided by a named arbiter, not by a model. Claude reads photos; it does not decide who gets paid.
  • What we say. We are in the program. We are not partnered with, backed by or endorsed by Anthropic, and we will not say we are.
